  1.          The Hon. Treasurer's report.

Dean Riley was not in attendance, so Steve Frost gave the Treasurers report.

There was then a big discussion about the club funds; Ian Hopper mentioned that the Angling Trust were doing a cheaper affiliation and insurance of about £102 (approx)

It was suggested that because the club had £3019.61 in the bank, that they should do something with it. After a very long discussion Paul Parsons proposed that the club put up a third of the profits, or £100 (£50, £30 & £20) for the top 3 Nomads anglers in the Christmas Open, but only if the profits allowed it. This was seconded by Paul Hayes, the vote was carried, 17 for, 1 abstained.

There were several proposals; from Tom Hastings, Keith Erridge & Paul King, Tony Kirrage, Steve Frost & Paul Cox

    Paul Cox proposed that we leave it as it is, this was seconded by Keith Erridge.

    The vote was carried 16 for, 2 abstained.

  • Keith Erridge & Paul King;

They proposed that all vehicles must leave the car park on the signal from the Competition Secretary, and not park out on the road.

Ian Hopper added to the proposal, saying that cars should not be leaving along the Lifeboat road. This was seconded by Paul Parsons.

The vote was carried with 15 votes for, 3 abstained

  • Tony Kirrage had 3 proposals;

    i. Tony proposed that the Bass size limit be reduced to 36cm, as it is the legal take home size, the Club at Worthing had already changed, and the ISAC club had been fishing to 36cm for around 3 years.

    It was decided that this would be on a trial run in the Bass & Species comps only.

    It was seconded by Tom Hastings

    The vote was carried with 10 for & 4 against

    ii. Tony proposed that we have an experimental pegged/walk off match.

    Nothing was really decided on this.

    iii. Tony's third proposal was about everyone parking in the car park, not on the road.

    This was dealt with in a previous proposal.

  • Steve Frost

    Steve's proposal was that it should be made a rule that all fish MUST be brought to the weigh in in a bucket of water, if not then they will be disqualified.

    It was agreed that this will be incorporated into the rules.
