 Bass & Species Guide Lines

Here are the guide lines for the "BASS AND SPECIES" Competition.

REMEMBER.....ALL FISH MUST BE SIZEABLE (Click Here for Fish Sizes )

Fish with 1 rod at a time.
3 hooks only.
Usual Club Limits (see rule 5, Click here for Competition Rules )
Any bait.

THIS IS 2 COMPETITIONS IN 1.

BASS" COMPETITION..........

Bring back all the SIZEABLE Bass you catch in the 4 competitions.

The angler with the biggest amassed weight of bass at the end of the 4 "BASS AND SPECIES" Competitions will win the Bass cup.

SPECIES" COMPETITION..........

With the exception of Bass (SEE ABOVE), only bring back 1 of each SIZEABLE Species to the weigh in, in each of the 4 Competitions.

There are points for each SIZEABLE Species (SEE BELOW)

ONLY 25 points will be given for BASS, even if you bring back 2 or more. (REMEMBER, KEEP ALL SIZEABLE BASS, THEY GO TOWARDS WINNING THE BASS CUP (SEE ABOVE).

Places are worked out on points first, then weight.

FOR EXAMPLE;

If 3 anglers bring back a Pouting (5 Points) and an Eel (15 Points), that means they all have 20 Points each. So, to separate them, the angler with the heaviest weight will win.

If you catch a fish that you've already got in your bucket, then keep the biggest, release the smallest. BUT REMEMBER TO KEEP ALL YOUR SIZEABLE BASS.

You can bring the same species of fish back to the weigh-in in each of the 4 competitions, so, if you've weighed in a Pouting in the 1st competition, you can still weigh-in a Pouting in the 2nd 3rd and 4th competitions.

The winner of the "SPECIES" Cup will be the angler with the highest amassed points at the end of the 4 Competitions, if there is a tie on points, then the angler with the biggest amassed weight in the 4 Competitions shall win the cup.

FOR EXAMPLE;

Angler A.....120 POINTS.....12lb 14oz 8dr
Angler B.....120 POINTS.....12lb 14oz 10dr

Angler B has the biggest weight, so angler B wins.
