Competition Description

 

Here is a brief description of the Competitions fished through the year.

 

Slater Cup

 

Normally the 1st Competition of the year.

A series of 3 Competitions.

Bring All Sizeable Fish of all species back to the scales.

The winner is the Angler with highest amassed points over 3 Competitions.

 

Nomads Cup

 

A series of 6 Competitions, 3 at the begining of the year, and 3 at the end of the year.

Bring All Sizeable Fish of all species back to the scales.

The winner is the Angler with highest amassed points over 6 Competitions.

 

Flack Cup

 

A series of 3 Competitions.

 

This set of Competitions incorporates the Drawn Pairs Competition.

The Drawn Pairs is an optional separate Competition.

Fished over 3 Competitions.

Any anglers wanting to take part, pay an agreed amount, this covers all 3 Competitions.

Names of pairs are drawn on the 1st night.

The winning pair is the pair with the highest points amassed over the 3 Competitions.

The points given in Drawn Pairs, are the same points given to Anglers in the Nomads club Competitions.

The winner is the Angler with highest amassed points over 3 Competitions.

 

Bass & Species Cup

 

A series of 4 Competitions.

 

2 Competitions in 1.

 

The Bass Competition....

Bring All Sizeable Bass back to Scales.

The winner is Angler with highest amassed weight of Bass over the 4 Competitions.

 

The Species Competition...

Bring back to the scales, only 1 Sizeable Fish from each Species caught, in each Competition.

Points awarded to each Species of Fish.

Winning Angler, is the Angler with the highest amount of Species Points, amassed over the 4 Competitions. (Click Here for Guide Lines Bass & Species Guide lines ).

 

 

Morris Cup

 

A series of 3 Competitions.

Bring All Sizeable Fish of all species back to the scales.

The winner is the Angler with highest amassed points over 3 Competitions.

 

Fickling Cup

 

A series of 3 Competitions.

Bring All Sizeable Fish of all species back to the scales.

The winner is the Angler with highest amassed points over 3 Competitions.

 

Cod & Whiting Cup

 

Normally the last Competition of the year.

A series of 3 Competitions.

Anglers can only bring Sizeable Cod & Whiting back to the scales.

The winner is the Angler with highest amassed points over 3 Competitions.

 

If an Angler should catch a species they have not caught during the year, they may bring it back to register it towards their species tally, but they cannot weigh in any fish other than Cod or Whiting.
