At a Nomads Committee Meeting on Thursday 23rd June 2011, Snowy (Nomads Chairman), bought in an envelope containing some Newspaper Cut outs.
These cut outs were about the Nomads, or Nomads Members, and were from the 1970's and 1980's.
Here they are, sorry I can't put a date to them.

Ultra-light tackle and white ragworm fished on a stormy hove beach gave "Snowy" Ruffell, of Eastbourne Nomads, a three-codling victory in the Southern Division NFSA annual beach festival.
At the top of the tide around mid-day, "Snowy"-a postman from Hailsham - defied the awful conditions by lifting the codling trio on three successive casts to score 6-7-12 (pounds, ounces and dramms) and take home two Caledonian airline tickets to Gibraltar and £40 in spending money.
Headed into the force 6-7 gale at the Portslade Harbour end of the five mile match length which stretched from Black Rock, Brighton, "Snowy" cast a drag weight 70 yards out into the 'cream' on 15lb line. The killing white ragworm was mounted on a 3/0 hook left flowing in the tide.
The best fish of the festival - entered by 460 - fell to second place man Ted Jeffery of the CVA club, Brighton.
Ted nabbed the 5-11-0 codling early on and packed up at lunchtime after a huge breaker drenched him from the waist downwards.
But the drenching in icy cold water was worth it for Ted, a carpenter, took home a fine beachcaster and two reels. Ted cast black lugworm 50 yards out from the beach behind Hove lawns.
Bus driver Harry Brown. secretary of the Southdown AC, cursed his bad luck when he lost an estimated 12-14lb cod in the surf by Banjo Groyne.
Luckless Harry played the fish into the shallows only to lose as an angler close by cast over his line. In the mess the cod snapped Harry's trace, and certain victory was lost.
But Harry still managed to contact a 5-5-8 codling to give him third place. He cast a 4oz lead to 22lb line and held his rod to feel for the bites as his beachcaster swayed violently in the whipping gale.
Top junior was 14-year-old Alan Wilkinson, of the Brighton Palace Pier AA, who managed a credible 2-5-0 codling.
Best lady was Mrs E. Galletly with a 0-3-4 Ling.
Other leading weights: E. Foster (Brighton) 5-1-4; R. Lampert (Moneyfield) 4-5-0; T. Collins (Patcham) 3-13-8.
The rest of them I have no dates for, all I can say is that they are from the 1970's, or the 1980's.
