THE PRESIDENTS CUP

I hope everyone got the message about the Presidents Cup, the dates have also been on the Nomads website for quite some time.

By the time you get this Newsletter, we would have already fished the 1^st one, was you there? hope so.

Anyway, the dates are as follows;

Monday 7^th November 2011

Monday 21^st November 2011

Monday 5^th December 2011
These will all be rovers, fishing limits from Harbour Arm, Langney Point to Holywell.
Book in at car park @ 7pm, weigh in at boat house @ 10.30pm
Entry £5 + £1 superpool.
£1 will be taken from each entry, this will be paid to the overall winner from the 3 competitions.
The competition results will be worked out on the same basis as club competitions.
Club rules apply. No points will be awarded to club points. These competitions are totally separate from club competitions.

There is a cup for the overall winner of the 3 competitions, the cup has been donated to the Nomads by Steve Domsalla & Tony Kirrage.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Don't forget the Annual General Meeting is on Wednesday 16^th November 2011, at the Eastbourne Angling Association, it starts at 8pm.

At the AGM, you will be able to renew your Nomads Membership for 2012;

£10 Adults, £5 over 60's and £1 under 16's.

Booking will be taken for the Nomads Christmas Open, it's on Sunday 11^th December.

Also the long awaited draw will be made for the Nomads raffle, did you buy any tickets? Will your number be called? I can't wait.

I will be starting another raffle, it will run from the AGM, tickets will only be on sale for 1 year, it'll be a cash raffle, the draw will be at next years AGM, the more tickets that are sold, the more money can be won. Maximum of 200 tickets, if they all get sold there will be 3 prizes; £100, £60 & £40, it's up to members to buy them.

EASTBOURNE NOMADS ON "FACEBOOK"

The "EASTBOURNE NOMADS" are now on "FACEBOOK". Some of you have already joined as "FRIENDS", requests have been sent out, but if you haven't had one, you will find the NOMADS on "FACEBOOK" under "EASTBOURNE-NOMADS ANGLING-CLUB". There's a link on each page of the Club website.

Go on have a look, you may like what you see.

IT'S NEW, YOU CAN NOW CHAT ON CLUB WEBSITE

There's a new edition on the club website.

On each page you will see a box that says "CHAT".

If you click on it you will see a box appear, you can register with your facebook, or twitter, or you can stay as a guest.

You don't have to download anything.

You can chat to others that are on the website.

I've checked it out, and it's perfectly safe.

It's just a little bit more fun. (life shouldn't be serious all the time).
